Ural Federal University and South Ural State University are jointly organizing the International Workshop on Innovative Approaches in Computer Science within Higher Education (InnoCSE 2017). The aim of the workshop is to develop new effective approaches to teaching computer science and software engineering. The workshop is conducted as a part of the international school “Math and Computing Foundations of Software Engineering” within the Erasmus+ PWs@PhD project.
We have received 18 submissions, each of which has been reviewed by at least three program committee members. The committee decided to accept 8 papers; only 7 of those papers have been included into the present proceedings volume. The proceedings volume is available at http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-1991/.
The workshop topics cover all aspects of software engineering education:
Please note that all the deadlines assume the UTC–12:00 timezone.
The presentations are available at https://github.com/urfuhpc/innocse.org/releases/tag/innocse2017.
We plan to publish accepted papers in CEUR Workshop Proceedings, which is indexed by Scopus.
Submission of papers to the workshop is open. Authors are invited to submit one page abstracts in the PDF format written in LaTeX using the Springer LNCS style (LaTeX template download). We do not accept submissions in Microsoft Word. The authors should submit papers using the EasyChair conference system.
Each paper will be reviewed by at least three program committee members. We follow the post-proceedings publication model. Therefore, we will publish only those papers that are presented at the workshop. Final versions of accepted papers should include LaTeX sources.
Official and working language of InnoCSE 2017 workshop is English.
Workshop participation and paper publication are free of charge.
